CREEPY BABY DOLL CONTEST, Oct 26, 2024

Posted on 28 September 2024 (0)

We’re all scared of something. Ghosts, spiders, zombies, knife-wielding maniacs, things that go bump in the night. But is there anything weirder than a creepy baby doll? That initial feeling of sweetness and innocence offset by that vacant stare and bizarre clothing… so far from a harmless, sweet toy.

Announcing our first CREEPY BABY DOLL CONTEST held Oct. 26, 2024 on Haunted Harmony night. Think “Halloween for Adults” in our historic town known for spiritual activity.

You’re invited to submit your original creepy baby dolls by bringing them to the Bottlebrush Gallery and Center for the Arts, 539 Main Street, Harmony, weekends only: Friday 11am-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm. Last day to drop off your spooky creations is Friday, October 25, 4pm.

Contest Guidelines:
– Limit two entries per person.
– Dolls should be no more than 2′ tall.
– Go wild with this idea but no nudity or profanity please. All dolls will go through a review for acceptance by Bottlebrush Gallery and the Harmony Business Association.
– All dolls must be original, no commercial, mass market dolls. Show us YOUR creativity!
– No photos of dolls, only actual dolls
– Each doll should have a tag attached with its name and your contact information. If you want to include a description of the doll’s creepiness, feel free!
– Entry fee of $5 per doll, due at time of drop-off at the Gallery.
– Voting will be held at the Gallery on Saturday, Oct 26, 11am-8pm.

You can vote for your favorite creepy doll by purchasing a ticket during our Haunted Harmony event ($1 each) and dropping it into that doll’s box. The doll with the most tickets will receive a CASH award, a ribbon and bragging rights. If we get enough entries, we will have 2nd and 3rd prizes. Get your friends to vote for your doll!

Show us what you’ve got! You can’t creep us out.
